We set out on a journey to search for the Alchemy of Innovation inspired by the science of biomimetics and asked what nature would do. As we looked closely, we found it hidden in plain sight, the principles and practices masterfully employed by the world's most innovative brands.

Siamak Z. Salimpour

Siamak Z. Salimpour

Co-founder

A Silicon Valley product design alum and macro rethinker. Reimagining the Future of Work, Innovation, and Leadership inspired by nature and biomimetics. Born with non~linear imagination, I’m fluently multi-cultural, well-traveled and insanely perceptive.

Siamak truly enjoys the time he spends brewing thoughts and ideas at SULŌN, a firm he founded based on the premise that “Design Is The New Currency.” He is particularly drawn to concepts offering meaningful social and economic impacts. His entrepreneurial perspective is powered by a diverse experience in a unique mix of design, startups, and technology.

Prior to the SULŌN, Siamak founded and managed consulting firms that provided concept-to-production product design services including industrial design, mechanical engineering, software engineering, and project management to tech startups and Fortune 500 companies. Siamak led and collaborated with either fully remote and distributed or semi-remote development teams globally.

Siamak holds an MS from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA from UOP.

Moe Bagheri

Moe Bagheri

Co-founder

Moe Bagheri is a lecturer at IPAM (Porto) with a focus on Marketing. He is also pursuing his Ph.D. in Marketing & Strategy at a joint program between three universities in Portugal, namely, Universidade do Minho, Universidade de Aveiro, and Universidade da Beira Interior. He holds an MBA from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, and European Business School, Germany.

Prior to lecturing at IPAM, Moe worked for more than a decade at several industries including Education, Information and Communication Technology, Luxury Interior Design, Digital Experience, and Retail Solutions where he applied business concepts to practical business challenges.

Moe's multidisciplinary skills include Teaching, Management Consulting, Research, Business Planning, Content Management, Communication, Social Media Management, Market Analysis, Strategic Planning, Project Implementation, Pricing and Packaging Services, Website Development, and Consulting in Marketing and Branding.
